Leather Deco Info: Labels, writings or markings may be present on the back of the leather, because it was intended for sampling and presentation of hides. We do not recommend removing the labels so as not to damage the leather. These are very thin and will not be visible once the leather is assembled. The quality of the skins has been checked but there may remain some minor defects such as slight folds and small holes which do not prevent the use of the majority of the piece.

The photos show examples of batches, but the photos are not contractual because each batch is unique.

For maintenance, we recommend Reptan cream from Saphir, reference WA024.

CITES: The sale of Elaphe Carinata snake leather is not regulated by the Washington Convention (Cites), however its importation is regulated because this species is listed in Annex D of Regulation (EC) No. 338/97 of Advice of December 9, 1996. This information must be presented to customs services in the event of an inspection in order to prove that these leathers comply with the regulations in force.

Snake leather info: The Elaphe Carinata snake is an exotic snake that belongs to the Calobridae family. Impressive as an adult, it generally measures between 1m50 and 2m. It can be aggressive but is not dangerous to humans. This snake mainly comes from breeding farms for the marketing of its meat in Asia, its leather is subsequently valued. This leather is front cut, that is to say it is cut at the level of the belly, to keep the dorsal scales intact.
