Monegasque artisan Nicolas Grinda created his workshop in January 2020 and, since then, leatherworking, which is his passion and his profession, has completely changed his life. He is an autodidact who learned all alone in his room, with two fundamental techniques: observation and note-taking. The observation of designs and shapes that he found beautiful and graceful: in notebooks he mentally deconstructed bags, drawings with proportions in all directions, calculations of bellows...
When he started to make himself known on social networks by sharing his tailor-made creations for his clients, he realized that he was receiving many messages asking about the techniques and finishes used. This is how L’École du Cuir was born. Today he decided to share his knowledge through his school!
