20 SNAP BUTTONS WITH APPLYING TOOLS - LINE 20: 12.5 MM
A complete kit to quickly and efficiently assemble Line 20 strong snaps (head diameter: 12.5 mm)
The kit contains:
- 10 strong brass-finish snap buttons
- 10 strong snap buttons with nickel-plated finish
- 1 striking handle and 1 anvil for attaching the snap buttons
- 1 explanatory note in English and French
Material: Steel
Dimensions :
- Diameter of the cap: 12.5 mm
- Pressure diameter: approximately 7.1 mm
- Diameter of the foot (stem): 3 mm
Recommended for leather thickness between 2 and 3 mm.
Each button is made up of 4 pieces.
Installation instructions (see the video) :
- Using a cookie cutter (sold separately) , make a 3 mm hole in the leather to receive the foot and another 3 mm in the leather to receive the cap
- Strike the handle with a mallet (wooden or polymer) to crimp the foot with the male part and the cap with the female part.
Please note : The brass finish may oxidize over time; it is possible to see traces on a new button. This is a normal process which does not affect the quality of the product and can be cleaned with a suitable product.
