Description

LEATHER MARKING NET - FRENCH NET

This simple , rounded fillet will allow you to make fine decorative lines on your leather pieces without limiting yourself to the edges. It can also be used to reheat the edge dye and thus create a hot finish or to burn the fibers that protrude from the edge of the leather after cutting (smoothing the edge).

Ets Regad has been a French manufacturer of electric tools since 1930 for manual finishing operations in leather goods.

Features :
- Attaches to the Regad handle
- Width: Choice
- Maximum tool height: 67 mm
- Maximum tool width: 15 mm

The appearance of the net on the leather depends on several parameters, such as the temperature of the tool, the type of leather, the speed of passage of the hot tool on the leather. We advise you to always carry out tests on scraps of leather to adjust the settings.

Recommendations for use : Regularly check that the heating tool is securely tightened on the handle to prevent oxidation from appearing and creating an electrical fault between the tool and the handle.

Info Deco Cuir : The tips may darken more or less after a few uses. Residues of edge dye or other finishing product may also remain stuck to your tools. You can clean them by using polishing paste previously placed on a piece of leather and rubbing the warm tool (TH2 to 4) on it. In case of extreme dirt, extra fine steel wool (000) can be used. Be careful not to touch the electrical resistance part to avoid damaging it.

Other Regad heated tips are sold separately.
