This thread is waxed , that is to say coated with a colorless and odorless synthetic pitch , similar to paraffin. Already treated, it saves you time and guarantees even waxing.
An ideal thread for hand sewing leather
Pitched to the core, this thread ensures excellent fiber retention. It won't tangle in long seams and won't knot. The pitch improves the thread's glide through seams, making your work smoother.
Additionally, it strengthens and waterproofs the thread, making it resistant to time and humidity for long-lasting sewing.
Knots made with linen thread are stronger than those made with synthetic thread. Also called waxed thread, this thread is non-sticky and ultra-strong.
