POWDER FOR MARBLING PAINT
This thickening (gelling) powder is mixed with water to prepare marbling baths. Add a few drops of paint* and create marbled effects on your natural vegetable-tanned leather .

Marbling allows you to give free rein to your imagination. For example, you can superimpose drops on top of each other then pull them with a toothpick, a needle, etc.

Tips for use :
- Sprinkle 2 teaspoons (7g) of marbling powder in 1 liter of cold water and mix vigorously with a fork, whisk or mixer to avoid lumps.
- Leave to stand for 2 hours.
- Transfer the mixture into a container and filter it with a strainer to remove the last lumps.
- Dilute Angelus paint with water until it has the consistency of milk.
- Using a dropper, place the paint drops on the water as desired to create patterns.
- Gently place the leather grain side down on this mixture.
- Gently remove the leather and admire your work.
- Once dry (24 hours later), nourish the leather with neatsfoot oil because the bath dries the leather.
- When your creation is finished: apply a protective varnish (for example: Resolene from Fiebing's).
