VIDEO
1. Transfer the pattern onto the leather
Cut out the paper pattern and transfer it onto the leather with a silver pencil.
2. Cut the leather
For simplified hand sewing , start by punching the Ø 1 mm holes in part P1 with a round punch.
Cut out pieces P1 and P2 from the pattern. Punch the 3 holes in piece P2 with a Ø 4 mm round punch.
3. Sew piece P1
Fold piece P1 in half and sew the side.
SEWING MACHINE
Use pliers to hold the leather while sewing. Do not sew the top of piece P1 to leave a passage for the lace.
SIMPLIFIED HAND SEWING
Cut a thread equivalent to 5 times the length to be sewn. Then, thread a needle at each end of the thread. Sew by passing each needle through each hole and making 3 backstitching stitches.

4. Put the round lace
Take 50 cm of lace and fold it in two.
Tuck the folded part of the lace into the opening at the top of piece P1.
5. Attach the key ring
Attach the key ring to the middle of the lace, at the bottom of part P1.
6. Tuck the lace into part P2
Take both ends of the lace and put them into the hole in the middle of part P2.
Bring part P2 as close as possible to part P1, while leaving the key ring sticking out at the bottom of part P1. Tie a knot (tight).
Cut off the excess lace.
7. Close part P2
Finally, screw a Chicago screw to close both sides of the P2 part. Or close with a T3 rivet.
