Pyrography is the art of engraving, inlaying patterns, designs, shapes, words on a support such as leather , wood and cork. Our pyrograph has been specially designed for hot engraving on leather. It works on vegetable or mineral (chrome) tanned leather. For a better result, we recommend vegetable tanned leather.
HOW TO ENGRAVE A PATTERN ON LEATHER?
You can engrave the leather using the pyrography tool and a steel plate made up of different patterns or by modeling your leather using a pattern printed on a tracing sheet or by drawing.
Please note that it is also possible to “engrave a pattern on the leather” with the embossing technique ( we invite you to see our guide ).

HOW TO USE THE PYROGRAVER?
We advise you to practice on scraps of leather, it is important to have the same speed of passage over your entire pattern so that there are no parts darker than others. We advise you to avoid stopping in the middle of a line so as not to have a gap or demarcation.
