Description
PYROGRAVING ON LEATHER
This marking tool is designed for hot engraving of leather, wood and cork. It works on vegetable or mineral (chrome) tanned leather. For best results, we recommend vegetable tanned leather.
To make a pyrography , an iron is used whose metal tip is heated. In contact with the leather, a dark line appears following the burn of the leather.
The secret is to make a continuous line at the same speed! Any stoppage will be visible on the surface by a larger mark. Some training on scraps of leather will be necessary to master this tool.
This pyrograph comes with 13 interchangeable brass tips which are fixed to the handle by a thread. They will allow you to make decorative markings, inscriptions and designs according to your wishes.
This pyrography kit includes :
- 1 pyrography handle
- 6 engraving tips with different line thicknesses
- 7 marking tips with different patterns
- 1 base to place the pyrograph
- 1 explanatory note
Dimensions :
- Handle length: 17.5 cm
- Plug cable length: 135 cm
This pyrograph plugs into a 230V French outlet.
You can use this pyrograph with the pattern plates sold on our store.
