The little extra : work on the edges of the leather of your jewelery with an edge finish in the color of your choice.
1. BRASS AND LEATHER BANGLES
This brass and leather cuff bracelet is the perfect piece of jewelry to enhance any wrist. Personalize a bangle bracelet by simply inserting a strip of leather in the center.
If you chose the small cuff (10 mm), cut out a rectangle 1 cm wide and 16 cm long.
If you chose the medium sized cuff (20 mm), cut out a rectangle 2 cm wide and 16.5 cm long.
If you chose the large cuff (30 mm), cut out a rectangle 3.1 cm wide and 16.5 cm long.
Please note, the length may vary depending on the flexibility and fineness of your leather. Choose leather with a thickness of 1 mm or less so that it does not protrude beyond the rolled edges of the cuff.
2. Glue the leather
Put neoprene leather glue on the cuff and on the back of the leather. Glue the leather to the metal cuff. Use a fine-tipped shaper to tuck in the edges of the leather.
2. BLACK LEATHER STRAP
A sober leather bracelet with a touch of originality provided by the sliding loops. Don’t hesitate to mix shapes: flat leather straps and round braided laces. Glue the metal clasp to the ends of the strap.
A leather bracelet on the theme of the sea and summer, very simple to make! Make your own leather jewelry with 2 square laces and 1 flat strap. The metal clasp was glued with glue to the ends of the leather strap.
Make this beautiful leather cuff! The leather has been trimmed (thinned) at the ends to be able to glue the 2 parts in the clasp. The clasp was then glued with glue to the ends of the leather strap.
Cuff with leather on both sides: the blue leather has been glued to the crust side of the black strap. The little extra : you can then sew all around the bracelet to give it a more finished look.
The diamond shapes were made with a punch cookie cutter.
A concho is a small decoration to add to your leather creations, the concho selected for this cuff is to be screwed on. Make a 5mm hole to fit the concho and collar button. Don't forget to make an incision (inwards) for the collar button.
Vegetable tanned leather bracelet with a magnetic top as a closure. The patterns on the leather were made with a precision cookie cutter (several shapes exist). We advise you to strike on the reverse side of the leather when using precision cutters in order to have a cleaner shape.
We offer pre-cut leather bracelets on our website. Personalize them with conchos, rivets, eyelets or even markings. Screw in a T3 collar button to close the bracelet.
BONUS: Lucie.S presents her very pretty leather earrings: pieces cut using the Cricut(cutting machine available on our site) and decorated with iron-on adhesive.
