Description
TRACING CLAW - HAND SEWING
This metal tool allows you to draw a fine, precise line that is perfectly parallel to the edge of your piece of leather. This line serves as a guide to help position your punching claw and achieve straight hand seams.
Use : Place the longest part on the edge of the leather. Then slide the tool along the edge of the leather so that the cutting edge (shortest part) marks the leather.
Dimensions :
- Tool length: 110 mm
- Handle diameter: 6 mm
- Distance between the edge of the leather and the line made: 2.5mm - 3mm - 3.5mm - 4mm or 5mm.
This range of tools, manufactured in Japan by Oka , is of high quality. They are nice and easy to use tools. The handles are knurled, which gives them a good grip.
The distance between the edge of the leather and the line made is engraved on the top of the handle.
We advise you to use this tool on vegetable tanned leathers. The marking is less clear on mineral tanned leathers (with chrome).
Sold individually and alone (without striking claw).
Made in Japan by OKA.
