Unlike most stitching groover this blade is on the same axis as the handle, providing better control and command of groove depth.
The first function of this frog is to dig a groove in the leather in order to make a seam. This groove allows the seam to be buried and protects it from friction.
The second function is obtained by replacing the blade with the spatula which allows you to make decorative grooves parallel to the edge of your leather pieces or serve as a former to trace the sewing lines.
Use this dual-function tool on firm leathers (vegetable or mineral), does not work on soft leathers.
The wheel unscrews and allows the stop to be adjusted between 0.2 and 3.7 cm.
Comes with a marking spatula and a tool to unscrew the blade.
