Description

PLATE FOR SANDING SLICES

This carbon plate is used with sheets of sandpaper (Ref: TB224 - Sold separately). Its small size makes it ideal for easy and precise sanding of the edges of your leather. Made of carbon, this plate is hard-wearing and has the advantage of being both very rigid and light.

A sheet of grit size sticker labels is included, allowing you to easily identify which sheet of sandpaper you have stuck to the carbon plate.
We recommend using a dedicated carbon plate for each grain, but you can also stick an adhesive on each side.

Directions for use :
- When using for the first time: peel off the protective paper from the sandpaper sheet and stick it on a carbon plate. To help you identify the grit of your sandpaper, stick the label indicating the grit number on the other side of the carbon plate (see video).
- Use dry. The lower the grit number, the larger the grit and therefore the more abrasive it is. For best results, we recommend starting with a coarse grit, then gradually refining your work with a finer grit.
- When the sandpaper sheet is worn out, remove it from the carbon plate and stick a new one. The sticker leaves no trace of glue residue to keep a perfectly smooth surface on the carbon plate!
