Arizona cowhide leather has the particularity of having a so-called "two-tone" finish: Its finish is obtained during the manufacturing process. The leather is first pigmented and then grained. Then, a darker colored lacquer is deposited on the tops of the grains. This gives a double shade which creates a contrast and accentuates the relief. This double tone is more or less marked depending on the color.
