VEGETABLE TANNED SPLIT LEATHER
Vegetable tanned croupon leather, ideal for your creations of leather goods, belts, saddlery, satchel, knife case or others...This nourished, semi-aniline leather is through-tanned. Its antique finish has the particularity of bringing out the characteristics specific to leather and highlights the authenticity of the material. Over time, it will patina and become even more beautiful. It has a matte finish that gives an even color with some color nuances due to vegetable tanning. This leather is well nourished, it has good flexibility which allows it to be shaped easily. It has a slightly oily touch.

On the flesh side, this leather is resinated which gives it a beautiful finish.
This is a finished leather, meaning you won't be able to do any tooling on it but hot engraving works great.
Remember to maintain this leather by cleaning it from time to time with glycerine soap and then applying a nourishing layer: wax, grease, oil, cream or milk.
