BACKGROUND STAMP

Barry King Tools is a premium manufacturer of leatherworking tools. This manufacturer is THE tool reference in the USA for people doing metal spinning in the Sheridan style.

The Backgrounder is the tool that allows you to draw the background of the pattern. It will help to highlight the pattern in order to highlight it.

The Backgrounder Checkered Teardrop stamp is squared, which allows a good grip of the dye or patina and increases the relief effect when coloring. It is available in 3 sizes.

Handle diameter: 6.5mm
Tool length: 10.5 cm
Pattern size:
- Size/Size 1: Width: 1.9 mm - Height: 3.6 mm
- Size/Size 2: Width: 2.8 mm - Height: 4.7 mm
- Size/Size 3: Width: 4.4 mm - Height: 5.9 mm

The handle stamps are used with a "Maul" type mallet made of nylon, polymer, leather or wood (do not use a steel hammer).

All Barry King Tools items are shaped by hand making them unique tools.
They are made of stainless steel to avoid any corrosion problem and make them indestructible.
