HANDLE FOR LEATHER SEWING AWL

Awl handle made of boxwood. Round handle for a good grip.
Brass ring.

The blade must be inserted at the end of the handle into the hole. For some blades, the hole will need to be enlarged.

This awl handle is made of boxwood because this wood is known to be one of the hardest woods. It has natural characteristics that make each tool unique without altering its strength and durability: irregular grain, coloring, knots and even small cracks.

J'ajuste ce type de manche pour des limes de précision pour avoir une bonne tenue en main,rien a redire sur la qualité ( manche en buis,virole en laiton,finition vernie) mais le prix comparé a un modèle identique en frêne reste élevé .

Parfait , pareil que les manches plats , de bons manche jolis et de bonne qualité même si les pré-trous pour les alênes sont de travers , 2 sur 3 pour moi , il suffit de finir la finition comme on veut , de toute-façon il faut repercer suivant le diamètre de ce que l'on veut emmancher .
