Description

BOOK IN ENGLISH - DIY LEATHER BAGS

In this beautiful book, discover how to make yourself 40 models of bags and accessories with a modern and elegant design to sew by hand . Each stage of production is detailed and illustrated with numerous photos and diagrams.

The patterns are included at the end of the book and must be reproduced at the correct scale (the enlargement method is explained in the book).
Drilling the sewing holes is an important and delicate step: the number of holes and their position must match perfectly on the 2 pieces to be sewn together. This is why all the jigs have marks in order to position your claw correctly. This will allow you to pierce the leather in the right places and achieve nice even seams.

All the models presented are made of natural vegetable tanned leather. This leather can be personalized by embossing, dyeing, molding...
You can also use vegetable tanned leather from the TANAO range to avoid the coloring step.
Mineral tanned leather can also be used. In this case, firm leathers are preferred.

The explanations are in English , but the numerous visuals will allow you to easily understand the instructions.
