Installing STRONG snap fasteners is easy thanks to this kit consisting of 10 snap fasteners, a punch, a punching set and instructions.
Suitable for leather, fabric or any other material 1.5 to 2.5mm thick . Beyond that, preliminary tests will be required.
Perfect for beginners.
Each button is made up of four pieces.
Material: Brass
Choice of finish: Luxury gold, Aged brass, Nickel plated, Glossy black or Old copper
Dimensions :
Cap diameter: 15 mm
Pressure diameter: about 10 mm
Instructions for use :
- Using the punch, make a hole in the leather to receive the foot and another in the leather to receive the cap
- Using the setting tool - Hit the tool with a hammer to crimp the foot with the female part and the cap with the male part.
Box contents :
- 10 snap fasteners, each made up of 4 pieces.
- A cookie cutter (approximately 3 mm)
- 1 tool consisting of an anvil and a striking handle
- 1 explanatory note
The die does not have a side release. The cut must be removed with a pin to ensure longevity.
Don't hesitate to practice on a scrap to master the tool before placing your button on your piece of leather.
