LEATHER MARKING FORMOIR
The design of this former is inspired by the tools of the artisan trunk maker. Both light, ergonomic and resistant, it allows you to make a straight line on your vegetable tanned leather . Thanks to the 4 different notches, you can mark a line 1.5 mm, 2 mm, 2.5 mm and 3 mm from the edge of the leather. The line made can be used to make a decoration or serve as a guide to mark the location of the sewing holes.
This former is made of boxwood because this wood is known to be one of the hardest woods. It has natural characteristics that make each tool unique: irregular grain, coloring, knots and even small cracks.

This tool only works on vegetable tanned leather. On mineral tanned leather, the marking will be less clear and will fade over time.
