Leather spinning training: Discovery of basic techniques
Level 1: Beginner
For a day, come and learn the basic notions of working with leather using the embossing technique.

Materials and tools: provided
Location: in the premises of our physical store in Campbon (44) located between Nantes and Saint-Nazaire in Loire-Atlantique.
Duration: 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Training not eligible for the CPF.
The 120€ includes registration for the training day and lunch.
Our trainer, Anthony Hervy, is a leather craftsman and works with passion and respect for traditions. He will listen to you and can answer all your questions .
Program :
- Presentation of tools with the stamp dictionary
- Learning basic techniques
- Transferring the drawing using a layer
- Swivel cutting: Presentation of the different blades and sharpening on a strop
- Trimming with Bevelers
- Shading work
- Highlighting
- Working on the background with the “Backgrounder” stamps - Creation of a mini project (card holder with rivets)
- Application of basic techniques
- Coloring with dye or patina
- Application of a protective finish
Our store remains accessible during training.
Note : If you add the “paper catalog” (free) to your order in the basket, you will be asked for shipping costs. We advise you to wait until the day of the training to find out.
If the number of participants is insufficient, DECO CUIR reserves the right to cancel the training.
Any withdrawal reported at the latest three weeks before the course will not give rise to any refund unless another trainee takes up the place left available.
