LINEN THREAD FOR SEWING LEATHER

Small spool of GROS BIS linen thread of 30 meters. 100% waxed linen thread "Au Chinois".

No. 12 = wire diameter: 0.95 mm
Color: Ecru
Spool dimensions: height 31 mm - Diameter: 44 mm
Weight: 18 grams

This linen thread is glazed, which means that it has passed through a starch bath to which beeswax has been added. It then underwent horsehair brushing and stretching. These operations give a smooth and resistant thread which has rigidity, a good glide to facilitate sewing and holding.

It is a natural yarn that allows the realization of traditional and authentic products while offering an incomparable aesthetic aspect and a very great solidity.
Ideal for solid seams on leather, it will also be essential for your DIY work, cooking, bookbinding, making bracelets, threading beads, models...

Also available in N°8 (diameter 1.05 mm) and N°16 (diameter 0.80 mm).
