Description

COOKIE CUTTER FOR COLLAR BUTTON

Round punch cookie cutter with notch to punch the hole for a collar button .
With one blow of the mallet, the hole made will allow you to both keep the button securely closed and open it easily thanks to the notch.

It is very practical for closing a bracelet, small leather goods, glasses case, making belt holes or other creations. It can also be used to adjust the size of a strap (to do this, make several holes to adjust the size).

Straight handle.
High-strength steel blade that can be sharpened.
The cookie cutter is equipped with a cutout ejection hole on the side.

We recommend using an ERTALON cutting plate to have a clean cut and not damage the edge of the cookie cutter.
Steel hammers are not recommended. Prefer a wooden or polymer mallet.

For the collar button to remain securely closed, the diameter of the hole must be almost identical to the diameter of the collar button hanger (the stem) and less than the diameter of the ball (example: 4mm hole for a T4 collar button with handlebar diameter of 3.8mm and ball diameter of 6mm). The thickness and flexibility of the leather must also be taken into account when choosing the diameter of the hole so that use is pleasant. A prior drop test is always recommended.
