As its name suggests, the Découvit allows you to quickly unsew the seams, hems, all the tight stitches at the start of the seam. It also allows you to remove the buttons, to remove all the small threads that protrude from the seams
The Découvit is made up of a plastic handle and a fixed V-shaped blade. It comes with a plastic cap.
To unstitch, position the point above.
For other uses, position the tip underneath.
You'll use it anywhere scissor blades can't get through.
Invented in 1950, it will quickly become indispensable in your sewing kit.
