SWIVEL KNIFE TANDY LEATHER 8002-01
The knife to open, also called swivel or swivel knife, makes it possible to incise the leather before the work of embossing. It is a metal tool composed of a sharp blade. The index is positioned on the stirrup, the thumb and the middle finger on each side of the handle as if to hold a pencil. With the index finger, you control the depth of the cut while the other fingers are used to rotate to make the shapes you want. Tool size:
- Height between the stirrup and the end of the blade: adjustable between 7.5 and 8.5 cm
- Diameter of the handle: 1.25 cm
- Total length of the tool: 9.5 cm
Supplied with a straight steel blade:
- Mounting diameter: 7/32"
- Mounting diameter: 7/32"
- Blade thickness: 2 mm
- Blade width: 9.5 mm (3/8")
The index finger stirrup is ergonomic, the smooth arc edge provides more comfort during engraving.
Thanks to the position of the fingers and the pivoting handle, one can easily draw circles, angles and curved lines. The handle is adjustable in height, just unscrew it.
Contains a protective cap for the blade.
