In the selected leather, more than 75% of the skin is usable.

This leather is already dyed in the mass in the tannery (uniform color). The grain of the leather is covered with a protective layer of colored wax which gives good color intensity and ensures its waterproofing. This gives it a satin look.

On the flesh side, this leather is also finished: it has received a coat of colored wax which provides a nice finish by bonding the fibers together.
On the collar, the presence of more or less pronounced neck wrinkles is possible.
Small traces of imperfections (scars for example) may be present.
On the periphery of the skin, marks from drying clips may be visible.

This is a finished leather, meaning you won't be able to do any tooling on it but hot engraving works great.

Remember to maintain this leather by cleaning it from time to time with glycerine soap and then applying a nourishing layer: wax, grease, oil, cream or milk.
