RIDING BUCKLE FOR LEATHER STRAP
This brass buckle has a thick round barb.
Welding provides good strength. Once your strap is attached, the weld at the axle will no longer be visible.
This buckle is ideal for making halters or for other riding or saddlery equipment. It can also be used to make dog accessories or other leather creations.

Over time, brass can oxidize naturally and a “verdigris” type patina may appear. This is not a defect and can be cleaned with a product suitable for brass.
