This thread is waxed , that is to say coated with a colorless and odorless synthetic pitch , similar to paraffin. Already treated, it saves you time and guarantees even waxing.
An ideal thread for hand sewing leather
Pitched to the core, this thread ensures excellent fiber hold. It does not tangle on long seams and does not knot. The pitch improves the glide of the thread in the seams, making your work smoother.
In addition, it strengthens and waterproofs the thread, making it resistant to time and humidity for long-lasting sewing.
Knots made with linen thread are stronger than those made with synthetic thread. Also called waxed thread, this thread is non-sticky and ultra-resistant.
