POLISHING PASTE - PASTE TO SHARPEN YOUR TOOLS

To sharpen "leather" your cutting tools, your knife or your razor, get a blade with the perfect edge.
To be used on a STROP. This wooden tool is made of leather on the grain side and leather on the split side.
The paste must be placed on the previously oiled piece of leather (grain side) by rubbing the stick vigorously.
Do not hesitate to heat the paste to be able to spread it more easily on the leather.
You must then pass the blade over the leather alternately front then back and respecting the edge of the cut to gradually sharpen the steel of the blade.

Leather Deco Tip :
- We advise you to do the first sharpening starting with water-based paper (600 grit to start and finish with 1000 grit)
- You can wipe your blade on leather on the flesh side to remove the remaining paste
