It is used to enlarge or reform the holes in order to stop a seam. Use this tool for sewing starts and stops on your leather creations. Unlike the pliers awl it does not cut the wire
The handle of this round awl is made of wood. It is set with a polished brass ring. The awl has a very nice finish. Wooden handle (Cocobolo or Bocote depending on arrival)
