Each lot is unique and includes a variety of different pieces of snake leather measuring 50cm in length in total (all pieces combined) and between 8cm and 15cm wide.

Info Deco Cuir: Labels, writing or markings may be present on the back of the leather, as it was intended for sampling and presentation of the skins. We advise you not to remove the labels so as not to damage the leather. These are very thin and will not be seen once the leather is assembled. The quality of the skins has been checked but there may still be some minor defects such as slight folds, small holes which do not prevent the use of most of the piece.

The pieces will not be individually identified, so they cannot be reordered individually at a later date. The batches are prepared in advance and randomly, it is not possible to request a particular selection.
The photos show examples of lots, but the photos are not contractual because each lot is unique.

For maintenance, we recommend Reptan cream from Saphir, reference WA024.

CITES: The sale of Elaphe Carinata snake leather is not regulated by the Washington Convention (Cites), however its import is regulated because this species is listed in Annex D of Council Regulation (EC) No. 338/97 of 9 December 1996. Deco Cuir will provide you with all the information on your invoice to ensure the traceability of the products sold. This information must be presented to customs services in the event of an inspection in order to prove that these leathers comply with the regulations in force.

Snake leather info: The Elaphe Carinata snake is an exotic snake that belongs to the Calobridae family. Impressive as an adult, it generally measures between 1.50m and 2m. It can be aggressive but it is not dangerous to humans. This snake mainly comes from breeding farms for the marketing of its meat in Asia, its leather is valued in a second phase. This leather is cut in front cut, that is to say it is cut at the belly level, to keep the dorsal scales intact.
