Glazed cabled linen thread is a high-end, highly durable thread. It's a natural thread that allows for the creation of traditional and authentic products while offering an incomparable aesthetic appearance and very high strength. It is ideal for hand sewing small leather creations. Its very regular diameter also allows it to be machine-sewn.

Cabled yarn is a twist that is spun a second time at several ends and then twisted "wet." This moistening ensures that the linen fibers are not damaged. Cabled yarn increases strength and produces a very round thread, generally used for luxury leather goods.
This linen thread is glazed, which means it is soaked in a starch bath to which beeswax has been added. It is then brushed with horsehair and stretched. These processes produce a smooth, strong thread that has stiffness, good glide for easy sewing, and good hold.
